Our data transfer on the Internet uses an advanced system which
meets the highest levels of security and reliability.
The system fulfils the requirements of the strict German legislation for
data protection.
Any data can be exchanged in a secure way using SSH/ SCP or
secured email. Our email system is in line with the recommendations
of the German Roentgen Association for the Standardization
of
Telemedicine.
Our system is customer-friendly and based on standard Internet tools.
The images should be provided in DICOM 3 format by a DICOM Send-
capable software or modality.
We deliver a ready-to-go TeleReport Gateway on preconfigured
hardware. This gateway is designed as a DICOM node which manages
the complete internal and external communication of the data
transfer. The user works within a familiar environment. The transfer
of images to the TeleReport Gateway is like sending images to any
other DICOM node. The gateway remains completely hidden in the
background.
Our teleradiological services can be used for selected cases sent
manually, or through autorouting right out of the PACS or modality.
Physicians or technical assistance should provide us with details about
the patient's medical history and the objetivs of the examination. The
information is simply typed onto the request form for reporting, provided
by the webserver of our TeleReport Gateway. It is also possible to accept
data from an existing information system, such as HL7 messages.
The images and the request for reporting are transfered to our reporting
site and are distributed to our specialists.
The report is returned via the same secure channel in English or German
as a PDF file or a HL7 message. The integrated webserver enables
access to these reports from any computer in the customer's intranet. A
Radiology Information System (RIS) is not required.
If you have an existing information system we provide the option
to connect the TeleReport gateway via a HL7 interface so that
the report data can be automatically stored in the information system.
